Graduate Info: Join in the positive spirit. Be part of the longest running, annual graduate sustainable design exhibition. Participate in a great process, network and learn about other great ideas for our future while advancing Green/ Ethical/ Responsible Design. Selected projects will enjoy kudos, camaraderie and feature in our new website, catalogue & exhibition. Last year $10,000 worth of prizes in cash, software and more were awarded. All original, genuine and high quality entries will be considered. More of an UN-competition as we're not looking for One winner, but the better your project and the greater your participation, the better your potential rewards. Entry is Free, however your Uni may be invited to support this special event. SRD Change 11 will feature as part of Sydney Design 11 presented by the Powerhouse Museum. TIMING: (first tranche digital applications closed 27 April 2011) Only projects created in 2010 for final year of a Design Degree at any major Australian University are eligible. REVIEW existing websites and catalogues. Be inspired, see Exhibits online as benchmarks. 2010 reference ; earlier SRD Change versions: All SELECTED may be required to participate in online or live meetings. Exhibition will be at a major Sydney venue from 1st August, 2011.
For Invited applicants. Write a brief explanatory max. 120 word description of your project, plus the top 4 features of your project in bullets points and provide three Lo Res graphics / photographs of your work. 14 Aug 2010: SRD Graduate Project Workshop ALL FINAL YEAR DESIGN STUDENTS. With a fascinating discussion of responsible design in progress, this event is now completed.

FREE opportunity for students from any institute of tertiary education in their final year to workshop their graduate project with a panel of academics and professionals with a background in sustainability. Participant feedback over the past few years has been very positive. Tease out ideas, develop directions. SRD Change series to reach new International audience

Presenting a paper on the SRD Change series for the Connected 2010 design education conference at UNSW with an exhibition of the cross discipline examples of Responsible Design thinking to create our sustainable future. It's much more than the individual ideas, it's the collective process and development of design as a greener solutions provider that's readily scalable and vast in it's potential. Connection and collaboration combined with considered creativity, a worthy design challenge.
