Heyington Place Eco-Centre

Heyington Place is based around the design of an Eco-Centre on the banks of the River Yarra within the inner urban areas of the city, and focused on the fact that change in our world is an ever present reality.

The site response presents many design challenges, such as altered topography, orientation, limited access and the expression of the principles of sustainable design all within a unique architectural form. Environments changed through infrastructure development, or in this case, freeways, railway and waterway reconstruction have created an artificial landscape that I have managed, complimented and created a program specific building on.

Change in our world can be used to create better places through generating exciting design opportunities.
