ABOUT
CHANGEX |
CHANGEX
is an annual exhibition of student art + design works that address
issues of sustainability, environmental responsibility, social
equity and community. Now in its third year, the exhibition
will be complemented by an expanded series of events of interest
to young designers, professionals, and community members alike.
Works showcased in the exhibition have been drawn from
a wide range of design fields including industrial design, architecture
and interiors, landscape, textiles, graphics, installation and
multimedia. Retaining its emphasis on recent graduates,
this year's exhibitors will also include high school students
and current students from the University of Sydney, UTS, UNSW,
COFA and UWS.
These diverse projects approach design as a tool for satisfying
genuine human needs in ways that are both practical and imaginative,
challenging the conventional expectations of the design industry
and extending the boundaries of their discipline. |
